Getting Started with MAXRES Architect

MAXRES Architect enables automated generation of course content from structured training designs using AI assistants. Before using Architect, initial configuration is required by an authorized administrator.

Requirements​

  • You must be a Workspace Admin or Super Admin
  • You must have access to the Administrator view

Configuration Steps​

Before you can begin using MAXRES Architect, you must configure your AI assistant settings.

Step 1: Open the Administrator View​

  1. From the Dashboard, open the ☰ Hamburger Menu
  2. Select Administration

Step 2: Set the Assistant ID​

  • Locate the Assistant ID field
  • If blank, enter the Assistant ID provided by your MAXRES account manager

Once the Assistant ID is set, it cannot be changed.
This is a current limitation that will be addressed in future versions.

Step 3: Add Element Assistants​

  • In the Element Assistants field, enter the corresponding Assistant IDs for each content element (e.g., KLPs), as provided by your MAXRES account manager

Element Assistant IDs can be modified at any time.

Step 4: Add Reference Documents​

  • Under the Documents section, click Add
  • Select the relevant documents to include in the AI assistant’s knowledge base

Ensure your Training Design Document is complete before proceeding.

Automating Content Creation​

Once configuration is complete, follow the steps below to initiate the content build process:

Step 5: Process the Training Design​

  • Click Process Training Design
  • This will automatically build the full syllabus structure in MAXRES Construct using any defined KLP templates
    ⏳ Processing time will vary based on the size and complexity of the Training Design Document

Step 6: Generate KLP Seeds​

  • Click Apply Assistant
  • This will generate KLP Seed Content Definitions ("Seeds") based on the training design
  • These Seeds are automatically added to the KLP content objects

Step 7: Return to the Dashboard​

  • Navigate back to the Dashboard
  • View your generated courses under All Courses

At this stage, the Subject Matter Expert (SME) should begin reviewing the KLP Seeds for accuracy and completeness.

Reviewing and Validating KLP Seeds​

The SME can now review, refine, and accept KLP Seeds.

Steps:​

  1. Open the course from All Courses
  2. Navigate to the KLP you'd like to review
  3. Double-click the KLP to open it
  4. In the Assistant AI section, click the cloud icon
  5. Review the AI-generated KLP Seed

If the Seed Is Accurate​

  • Click the tick icon in the bottom right of the chat bubble to approve it

Once accepted, the Seed will be passed to other AI assistants to generate full KLP content outputs.
This process may take time depending on complexity.

Batch processing of Seeds will be available in a future release.

If the Seed Requires Changes​

  • Provide correction requests directly in the AI chat interface
  • Continue refining until the content is accurate and relevant
  • Approve the final version using the tick icon

To save time and reduce credit usage, include as many corrections as possible in a single message.

The ability to save change requests before submission will be introduced in future platform updates.

By following this process, you can efficiently configure MAXRES Architect and begin leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate and enhance your course development workflows.
